The Ah Ring – Pinky Bling !
Just like Marilyn Monroe, I love me some diamonds. I loved my engagement and wedding rings so very much, and after becoming a widow, the decision to quit wearing them was tough. It left my soul and my hand naked and less shiny. This was not a feeling that a woman who likes to sparkle is fond of.
I’ve tried countless other rings since then, but it seemed like all of them look like engagement rings or wedding bands, which as a widow, kind of adds insult to injury. So for the last couple of years, I’ve just been less sparkly, much to my chagrin.
But I’ve FINALLY discovered a ring that is perfect for me ; The Ah Ring !
The Ah Ring is the FIRST and ONLY diamond ring designed for especially for single women.
Married and engaged women have their rings, and The Ah Ring is for single women to celebrate being A (Available) and h, (happy). It is for joyful, confident single women who are single for however long that might be. It’s about empowerment.
Why should I wait for another man to buy me diamonds? I can buy my own, and you should too!
The Ah Ring is a gorgeous ring made of 14 karat white gold, encrusted with 11 round full cut diamonds totaling .21 points. I told y’all I love my sparkle ! And the fine folks at Divine Diamonds have certainly produced a stunner ! And it’s not only gorgeous, it’s economical, selling for $350.00 plus S&H.
Look how BEAUTIFUL !
I just know it will look super fabulous on my pinky, which is where The Ah Ring is meant to be worn.
Like I said before, The Ah Ring symbolizes for us singles that we are A (available) and h (happy), but it can also be worn by women who are in relationships to show that they are A (attached) and h (happy)! Stack the Ah Ring and multiply your happiness for every occasion, birthday, holiday or just because you deserve it ! I see many stacks in my happy future !
The Ah Ring has been called “the sexiest thing since the stiletto” , the “symbol of single’s pride” and “the look of luxury at a lower price point”. Oprah featured The Ah Ring in the March, 2001 issue of O, The Oprah magazine, putting it on the “O List” as “something she thinks is just great.” Since then, it has been featured in over 200 magazines, newspaper and internet articles around the world.
Celebrity followers of The Ah Ring include: Oprah, Tyra Banks, Teri Hatcher, Kate Hudson, Kirsten Dunst, Anne Hathaway, Lauren Graham, Jennifer Biels, Eve, Serena Williams.
The Ah Ring has been featured in: The New York Times, the Chicago Tribune, The Washington Post, The Los Angeles Times, Harper’s Bazaar, O, The Oprah Magazine, and many others.
So ladies, do yourself and your beautiful pinky a favor, go out and treat yourself to a mani-pedi, and then head over to Divine Diamonds and order yourself the amazingly beautiful Ah Ring !
Girl, next time I see you, do the pinky wave and let’s show off our Ah Rings !
Brain Farts
- Spring semester is almost OVER. I can hardly believe it. I can also hardly believe that I have an “A” average in algebra and if I don’t bomb next weeks test I won’t have to take the final. This makes me warm and fuzzy. I’m thinking of having my instructor autograph my book.
- the pool liner finally came in and the pool dudes installed it yesterday. Now it’s the endless waiting for the tiny trickle that comes out of the hose to fill the damn thing up. I thought about setting the grass on fire around the pool in hopes that one of those helicopter dumpy things could fill it up immediately, but then I remembered that I don’t live out west and plus the pool is salt water, so there’s that.
- the fence guys have been here too, fixing the old fence, adding new panels and building a gate from the pool area to the carport as Beaux has taken to rambling. He always comes back but I’m afraid some critter might get him and the snakes and coyotes are on the move. I’m a bit disappointed that he won’t be able to go out in the woods anymore, because that means poop patrol is about to increase exponentially.
- I’m still obsessed with Pop Salad, the celebrity buy/sell game. I wish it was real money because man if it was, I’d be posting this from BoraBora.
- so far this week no one has called me ignorant or any other names on Twitter, so that’s a win, even though I’m still surprised at the amount of outrage people show over another person having a differing opinion, especially when it comes to politics. But I saw a great tweet that kind of sums it all up, “It’s not personal, it’s politics.” Yea buddy.
- I know I posted this last week, but my old house SOLD, finally, after almost 18 months on the market. It’s kind of bittersweet, but at the same time its a relief and it seems like maybe things are moving in probate hell.
- My garden is all planted and because of this rain, things are growing fast! Looks like lots of cucumber and tomato salads this summer, which is awesome.
- speaking of summer, I’m looking forward to it. In between school and working I’ll be squeezing in trips home to Mississippi and New Orleans, Gulf Shores, Pensacola, and finally NYC in August. I’m also going somewhere beachy for my birthday, I just haven’t figured out where yet. Maybe California. Maybe just Pensacola. Anywhere with good food, good music and good times, I’ll be happy.
- I’ll be spending a week in NYC and I’m trying to plan some things I’ve never done before. I’ve been there so much I’ve done all the touristy stuff, but I’m still planning to take a helicopter tour of Manhattan, and of course I’m gonna hit some Yankee games. Coney Island is on the list as well as a few restaurants on Arthur Avenue I want to try. Any other suggestions?

Release Date: In Theaters April 27, 2012

Synopsis:
In The Pirates! Band of Misfits, Hugh Grant stars in his first animated role as the luxuriantly bearded Pirate Captain – a boundlessly enthusiastic, if somewhat less-than-successful, terror of the High Seas. With a rag-tag crew at his side, and seemingly blind to the impossible odds stacked against him, the Captain has one dream: to beat his bitter rivals Black Bellamy (Jeremy Piven) and Cutlass Liz (Salma Hayek) to the much coveted Pirate Of The Year Award. It’s a quest that takes our heroes from the shores of exotic Blood Island to the foggy streets of Victorian London. Along the way they battle a diabolical queen (Imelda Staunton) and team up with a haplessly smitten young scientist (David Tennant), but never lose sight of what a pirate loves best: adventure!
