Fourty Three
Today would have been my parent’s 43rd wedding anniversary. 43 years of marriage. They were married for 2 years before I was born. Tomorrow is my birthday. Talk about the GREATEST.ANNIVERSARY.GIFT.EVAH!
That’s what my dad used to tell me, anyway.
I’m going to spend today with my mom in Biloxi, and then she and I and some other family member’s are going to one of my parent’s favorite places, Mary Mahoney’s . We’ll toast my parents, miss my father and just be there, in one of their favorite places.
It’s hard to celebrate love when one of the ones you love is gone, but he taught us well, and we won’t let him down.
Love you Mom and Dad. Always.

Happy Anniversary to Cozzie’s mom and HAPPY BIRTHDAY to The Coz!! I think your dad would want you both to have a good day and not cry over him, but I know that’s NOT easy. ((HUGS))
BTW: we got FANTASTIC news today-hubby’s cancer is GONE!! The scan shows NONE, ZERO, NADA but he will have 5 more chemo treatments “just in case”. WE are talking about a train trip to Laramie to visit the kids. Doc said “do it NOW while you still can-just GO!!” so we just might do that!

That wedding photo is the sweetest thing. Guess you don’t have to spend thousands on the wedding to have a great marriage eh? Try telling that to the kids nowadays. And yes, I am old lol. Your mom has some seriously big hair going on there – I bet she had it done for the wedding. It’s a beautiful picture and one that I bet she treasures.
