My father is gone. He passed a few hours ago.

I love you daddy. Thank you for the privilege of being your daughter.

  • Oh Kim.

I was just writing you a big long email; just know I’m thinking of you and praying for you.

There are no words. Just know we’re all here.

    Love.

    Loved ones live on in
memories and the joy of that
    remembrance will help us
    get through tomorrow.
    May it strengthen
    and console you
    to know that others care.

You know grief all too well.

    Sincere condolences

  • Kim,
I am so very sorry. Losing one’s Dad is just so painful, and you have had your share of painful losses already. Having followed you for awhile, I know you were blessed with a wonderful Dad. Be easy on yourself, and know there are many thinking about you and offering you peace and ease through this time.
I list my Dad a few months back…..no words can express the loss.

  • Kim:

Thanks to every one of yall, this has been a nightmare, one that I unfortunately have been in before. Your words and thoughts helped me through the last nine months, and now I will need your love and friendship again. I appreciate each of you, thank you.

This is Krystle’s Mom (Snarky Kisses), she told me about the loss of your Father and I just wanted to tell you that you’re in my thoughts and prayers. You’ve been thru so much in 2009, losing your husband and now your father, two of the most important men in your life. I lost my sister about 4 years ago and all I can say is that it does get better. I miss my sister terribly, but the emptiness I felt inside is slowly replaced with warm loving memories.

Kim, it’s obvious to me, after reading some of your blog, that you are an amazing woman with an incredible outlook on life and I hope that 2010 brings you much joy and happiness. ~Cathy

  • Janelle:

Ya know girly girl :) my thoughts and prayers are with you.

  • I am so terribly sorry for your loss. This is terrible at ANY time of the year – but at Christmas it’s just plan awful! I hope your dad passed away in peace and surrounded by love.

  • Barbara:

You have my thoughts and prayers behind you and your family.

  • Sue Mann Paulsen:

Hi Kim, I am so sorry about your dad’s passing. I hope you know that, through your blog, and probably in person, you let him know how important he was to you. You thanked him over and over again for his presence in your life. Some kids never do that and are remorseful the rest of their life. I’m sure your dad was very proud of the sensitive woman he raised. God bless you. Sue

  • Thinking of you, your dad, and your family, Kim. I love you and I’m so very sorry.
